Tiger Direct based in florida sells computer equipment. I was sold a fully equipped tower pc. However it arrived without the multimedia speakers that were included in the system I purchased. A few calls to Tiger Direct and they confirm that the speakers should have been included, however that another company in california, Vision Computers, was the distributer for the system in question. My experience with Vision Computers support was extremely rude. The representitive not only wouldn't help me, but he actually said as a matter of factly that I was lying. He said that the speakers did ship, and that I did receive them. As if the idiot actually packed them himself. The speakers that Vision Computers failed to ship were probably only worth $30, so it wasn't worth pursuing, however I will never do business with this company again. I advice anyone in the computer market to avoid Vision Computers. While Tiger Direct is not directly responsible for the mixup, it was unable to clear the matter with it's business partner. Further, as a consumer, I was completely unaware of Vision Computers when I made the purchase under Tiger Direct's name.

If you have trouble dealing with a company, your best bet may be for you to contact the Better Business Bureau. Post your company complaints on boards like this one to help educate other consumers. You may also want to report bad companies that have deceptive practices to the FTC. Obviously if you find a company is doing a good job, then the best way for you to help the company is the spread the word!

Research companies yourself before doing business with them. It can save you much time, money, and most importantly leave you with a positive customer experience.
