This is higher than hsbcdirect and ingdirect. Can manage and transfer money from the web site to your external accounts. Cons: No local branches for me in NY. They took a long time to open the account because it seems the process wasn't 100% automated. The web site needs to be cleaner and more intuitive. Every page has a plug for thier non-free money transfer service. If you're not subsribed to this service many of these pages are useless and annoying. They hide the more useful pages to manage external accounts behind hidden links.

If you have trouble dealing with a company, your best bet may be for you to contact the Better Business Bureau. Post your company complaints on boards like this one to help educate other consumers. You may also want to report bad companies that have deceptive practices to the FTC. Obviously if you find a company is doing a good job, then the best way for you to help the company is the spread the word!

Research companies yourself before doing business with them. It can save you much time, money, and most importantly leave you with a positive customer experience.
